My new album

"Show your work". The mantra I follow when writing blog posts and making YouTube videos.
Whenever I have nothing to make a video about, or nothing to write a blog post about, I show what I've been working on, what I've worked on, and what I will work on.
So, here goes nothing. I've started working on a new album.
This album is heavily inspired by Ooo, an album by Andrew Huang. This album doesn't really have songs in the truest sense. It sounds more like a bunch of experimental sounds and ambient loops.
This album that I'm working on is quite similar to that.
I think the main problem with my previous projects is that there is just way too much going on. I layered way too much and that took away from the essence of the song. With this, I want to try and go more minimal.
I want to have songs that are much more akin to ambient loops, and stuff that you might put in the background while doing something else.
So yeah, I'm experimenting with minimal productions.
I also have been getting into sample manipulation so I'm trying to learn the ropes with that as well; trying to figure out how I can manipulate sounds and turn that into music.
So, with this album, I've added another element: every song will only use sounds from a certain object.
My first song (track? loop?) will use samples only from a table.
So that's it.
This album will be an ambient one, totally dependent on samples. All the sounds on the album will be taken from samples from various objects.
Thanks for reading.
